The mission of the Water Holder Co. is to support all types of athlete’s conditions and those healthcare providers who treat injuries in athletes regardless of types of sports or levels.
The Company Representative: Masaaki Tsuruike, PhD, ATC, serves as an athletic trainer to treat throwing-related shoulder and elbow injury based on evidence.
Water Holder Athletic Training Academy Program
The Water Holder Co. has developed Athletic Training Academy Program, which will offer continuing education unit (CEU) seminars regarding athletic training to all the Athletic Trainers and healthcare providers who are interested in the field of athletic training, starting from the fall 2023.
The program has been approved by the Board of Certification (BOC), Inc for their Continuing Education Unit (CEU) seminar.

An upcoming CEU seminar, entitled “Assessment and Rehabilitation of Throwing-Related Shoulder and Elbow Injuries,” will start at Waseda University, Higashifushimi Campus, STEP 22 (Building 79) on September 3.

Profile
Masaaki Tsuruike, PhD, ATC
Tsuruike served as the Director of Graduate Athletic Training Education Program at San Jose State University, California from 2012 to 2020. He also served as the Clinical Coordinator of CAATE Undergraduate Athletic Training Education Program from 2020 to 2021. Additionally, he taught some kinesiology classes, such as Motor Learning and other upper and lower division Kinesiology classes until the end of the Fall 2022 Semester.
